Alex first changed when someone he was blackmailing shot him in the head attempting to kill him, and hasn't been Garou very long.
He passed his original rank challenge through a series of complex favors and manipulations strung together over the course of four phone calls. It was once said that his cell phone is almost more lethal than his claws.
Alex technically works as a liason between child welfare services and the police department and spends a good deal of time keeping an eye and ear out for new cubs.

The cubs of his sept had come to be considered a class. It was their task to find a way to get local law enforcement to stop chasing after those who had gotten into a bit of trouble. While they were discussing ideas, Alex took the names of everyone involved and told everyone to sit tight. Four phone calls and one exquisite dinner later, Alex had solved the problem. When he explained the solution to the gentleman who issued the challenge, he was named after the man who popularized the act of psychological manipulation termed "social engineering."

Ashara: She is the most surprising woman I have met in my entire life. The shrinking violet I found myself attracted to, opened up to reveal labyrinthine depth and brilliance that I hope to spend the rest of my life loving.
Belladonna: She was like the twin sister I never knew I had. How could one not love a duplicate of oneself with a much more attractive chest.
Thrall Larssen: He is a Get sept Alpha. If there is more to his personality that cannot be surmised by that previous sentence, I have yet to encounter it.
